Microblading service in Sotogrande

Restore the density, shape, and harmony of your eyebrows with hyper-realistic results.

At Julia Álvarez Clinic, we understand that eyebrows are the frame of the face and a key element in the expression of one’s gaze. Microblading is much more than a semi-permanent makeup treatment; it is a technique of artisanal precision that allows us to correct, define, or completely reconstruct the eyebrow, especially in cases where hair is sparse, non-existent, or has lost its natural shape over time.

Unlike traditional methods, our approach in Sotogrande moves away from artificial results. We work under a philosophy of natural beauty and balance, always ensuring that the design integrates perfectly with your features, your skin tone, and the actual direction of your hair.

    What is Microblading?

Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow makeup technique with hyper-realistic hair-by-hair results.

Being a manual process, it provides the technician with the opportunity to create the perfect eyebrow for each client. This ensures the appropriate thickness, colour, density, and shape to achieve a flawless and natural result.

At Julia Álvarez Clinic, we carry out a preliminary study and a personalised programme for each patient, measuring the client’s features and presenting them for approval before the design is authorised.

    Frequently asked questions
    about microblading

Do you have any questions about a treatment?
Here we answer our patients’ most common enquiries.
Most of our patients describe it as a sensation of light scratching or pressure, but not as sharp pain. As a treatment performed in a clinical setting, we take the utmost care of your comfort. Furthermore, by working on the most superficial layer of the skin, the discomfort is much less than that of a conventional tattoo and is perfectly tolerable.

Microblading is a semi-permanent treatment. Generally, the results remain flawless for between 12 and 18 months. The exact duration depends on individual factors such as your skin type (it tends to last slightly less on oily skin), age, and adherence to aftercare instructions. We recommend an annual touch-up session to keep the design and colour looking perfect.

The main difference lies in the technique and the finish. Microblading is performed manually and artisanally, which allows for much finer and more precise strokes that mimic real hair (hair-by-hair effect). Micropigmentation is typically performed with an electric device and usually aims for a more shaded or “makeup” effect.

At Julia Álvarez Clinic, we exclusively use high-quality, approved pigments. These pigments are designed so that the colour fades naturally and progressively into a softer version of the original shade, preventing them from turning into undesirable tones such as red, blue, or violet.

During the first week, it is normal for the eyebrows to appear slightly darker than planned; do not worry, the colour will lose between 30% and 40% of its intensity as it heals. Between the second and fourth week, the pigment may appear to disappear before resurfacing with its final tone. For this reason, the touch-up session at 4-6 weeks is essential to perfect any small strokes and finalise the treatment.
